For the past three weeks, I have been delighting in large helpings of beauty from the wedding industry. On my last night in North Carolina, I found myself inspired to create more content for my blog that draws from the people, places, and things that bring me joy. One of my favorite ways to bring that to life is to share snippets of my favorite wedding details that I have collected during my virtual travels. I hope you are inspired by the images that I gathered throughout the past week. You can view my first two wedding favorites posts here and here.
The sparkly details in this photo are glamourous. How fun would it be to wear a glittering pair of shoes beneath your wedding gown? It imagine that the bride would feel like a princess, as those heels reminds me of the shiny glass slippers that Cinderella is notorious for.
This tablescape is a delightful balance of simplicity and elegance. The florals pair beautifully with the texture of the lace, and the bright blooms pop against the neutral table linen.
This place setting looks sophisticated and formal, yet it also evokes a feeling of rustic heritage. With the delicate blooms, the shiny silver, and the weathered edge of the plate, I can imagine sitting at this table to enjoy brunch with the ladies of my family. The hand lettered menu is one of my favorite details, too.
This photo captures the joyful, fresh, and new moments of marriage for this sweet couple. My heart was melted by the shot of the groom setting his eyes upon his bride for the first time:
I love the special exchange that occurs between bride and groom right before she walks down the aisle.
I have always had a sweet spot for plaid and, as a Southern girl at heart, I have an even sweeter spot for seersucker. The two paired well together to create a dapper look for this New England groom.
