One of the ways that God has provided for me over the past few months has been a night time babysitting job that I do for a few hours twice a week. Since the children are asleep before I arrive, the job has granted me unexpected margin time. It is a blessing to have six hours a week that I can count on to provide quiet time coupled with additional income. I typically use that time to take advantage of the quiet and look for inspiration.
Right now I am sipping a warm cup of tea, a welcome treat in 7 degree New Hampshire. I’m sleepy and looking forward to an even more restful night when I get home. In the meantime, I thought I would share a snippet of the inspiration I’m enjoying tonight:
Opening my eyes to the creative talent around me has been huge and helpful. Raleigh is still on my mind (I received an email from an Etsy customer about ordering a North Carolina print as I was typing this), but I am being patient and seeking God’s plan for me, wherever that may lead me. I found mStarr Event Design just before Christmas while I was searching for event planners and wedding vendors in my own backyard. Emily is based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, one of my favorite quaint coastal towns. With a few clicks through her website, you will find that her portfolio is rich in beautiful, cheerful, and inspiring work. Enjoy!
