September 2017 Goals

Happy September, Y’all! Fall is upon us and I am so incredibly thankful. Each and every year I talk about how fall is my favorite and each year I grow to love it more. Let’s savor the crisp mornings and warm afternoons in this beautiful month ahead!

September 2017 Goals

August was a month of productivity – heaps of it. I continued to implement running into my schedule and have grown very fond of it. We continued to honor our budget and have gained solid momentum with financial responsibility! I finished my design course with a 99%, and am now in the final days of the busiest season of the year for work. September is the welcome breath of fresh air I’ve been looking forward to!

August 2017 Goals Revisited:

– wake up every weekday at 6 am I woke up almost every day at 6:30 – a step in the right direction!
– hang truth on our walls (I’m very selective about our home decor, so this is slow-going.)
– continue with running intervals 3x/week
– begin blogging our wedding and the planning process! (read the first post here)
– complete three workout videos each week
– finish Start, Cultivate, and Eat Move Sleep
– read The One Thing (there was a hold on this at the Library)
– legally change my last name (I’m halfway there! The DMV lines are no joke.)
– send all our wedding thank you notes (Slowly but surely)
– borrow my friend’s DSLR camera and practice shooting manual I had so much fun with this!
– replace my running shoes (I purchased this pair)
– do daily core strengthening

September 2017 Goals:

  1. I love the batch write idea! I’m not sure if this is the angle you’re coming at it from, but I just read somewhere (maybe from Lauren Hooker) about bundling tasks you procrastinate on with tasks you look forward to – and one of her examples was heading to your favorite coffee shop for a drink while you knock out a particular set of tasks! It sounds smart!
