Y’all, I love to eat good, wholesome food. While I do treat myself to not-so-clean treats (jalapeño poppers are my favorite!), I like to include healthy boosts into my diet wherever I can. Whole grains and avocado are two of my favorite ways to accomplish this, especially together. Since afternoon hunger just struck me, I’m seizing the opportunity to share my favorite afternoon snack with you.
You Will Need:
To prepare, simply toast the bread, mash the avocado directly onto the toast (a fork works best!), and sprinkle with the seasoning blend. If you are using lemon, squeeze a bit on top and enjoy! This is a great snack on its own, or served with a hard boiled egg or piece of fresh fruit. P.S.: This also doubles as a marvelously quick and delicious breakfast!
